Two EHS students selected for Bryant-Jordan Scholarships
The Bryant-Jordan Scholarship Program is named in honor of legendary Alabama coaches Paul Bear Bryant and Ralph ‘Shug’ Jordan and celebrates the very best senior student-athletes across the state of Alabama.

Farmers Market Nutrition applications available for seniors
The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) applications are now open. The SFMNP provides eligible seniors with a $50 benefit card to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from certified farmers at farmers markets and farm stands in Alabama.

BCHS basketball teams end season with losses
The Barbour County High Jaguar boys and girls basketball teams fell in the Class 2A Area 4 Tournament last week ending their season. The boys lost to the #1 seed Ariton Purple Cats Friday in Ariton 53-21. The girls fell to the #1 seed Abbeville Lady Yellow Jackets at Abbeville 4523.
